I went back down on Friday. The beach fence was blocking the stairs, and was well dug into the sand. I salvaged a few fence pieces on the top of the sand, but I needed cable cutters for the beach fence wire. It was also 16 degrees with a gusting 40 west wind. I didn't stay long. I was able to dig out the sign post that was left..
