"When I stop and think of it, it was 1986 when Paul and I bought this house from Frank and Alice Durant; so a great number of our neighbors have no idea who she is. I thought those of us who do remember her might enjoy seeing her party pictures. Even at 100 she shows signs of her old spark. Alice still plays the piano for the enjoyment of the patients, she still takes part in the karaoke sing-alongs. Although she is in her wheel chair full time, she sways to the music and shows her desire to dance. We oldies remember her playing at our Labor Day parties at Wequassett Inn. Her party was a nice tribute to her 100 years. She even got a greeting from Michelle and Barack Obama. Alice once again had the joint rocking--well at least it rocked in her honor! The little lady dancing is her best friend at the Bourne Manor."
